Nice Denim Mills Ltd is looking for Manager - R & D (Denim Pilot Wash)Job Description / ResponsibilityJob ContextWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Denim Specialist to lead our Denim R&D Pilot Wash Department at our textile mill. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of denim products along with various shades ensuring that they are fashionable and meet market trends. He will also be responsible for upgrading technical aspects of denim production.Job ResponsibilitiesResearch market trends and new developments to create fashionable denim productsPreparing new collections for all customers of the company and presentation to the customer.Organize and support fabric development and denim wash development with designers and fabric/finish managersPreparing new collections for all customers of the company and presentation to the customerTo prepare recipe and applications for Scraping, Bleaching, dyeing finishing and special effects for our collection and for customer productions.Neon, Pigment, Bleachable Reactive, Bleachable vintage dyes application in laboratory and in production to help customers in R&D and in their production processes.To adjust and apply sustainable, eco-friendly process to our customersTo run trials for new application and new chemicals for fashion effectsOversee the development of denim products to ensure they meet quality standardsManage a team of professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budgetCollaborate with other departments to ensure that products are produced efficiently and effectivelyEducational RequirementsBachelor/HonorsDiplomaGraduation or Diploma or Vocational Certificate in relevant fieldEducational qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced candidatesSkills Required: Dyeing/ Washing, Washing Factory, Denim Washing, Textile Processing, Fabric (denim) knowledge, Denim Washing (Quality), Denim Washing (Dry Process), Sound knowledge of Denim Wash, Wet washing processesExperience RequirementsAt least 10 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments,Textile,Dyeing Factory,Washing FactoryAdditional RequirementsStrong knowledge of market trends and developments in the denim industryExcellent leadership and management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyMust have passion for denim R&D and pilot wash developmentVery Good Computer LiteracyJob LocationGazipur (Sreepur)
