Manager - Tendering - Logistics – APACThis position is responsible for developing and overseeing DP World’s tendering and RFQ/RFP management activities for APAC region. This will include developing, negotiating, and pitching tenders. The candidate will work closely with various stakeholders and SMEs to develop proposals that address our customers’ needed and bring forth the best solutions we have to offer to enhance the chances of securing tenders.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop bid strategies and tender frameworks and responsible for APAC tendersLead and manage APAC tenders and technical proposals in response to RFIs / RFPs / RFQs covering full suite of Logistics solutions from Air, Ocean and Contract Logistics by adhering to Tender Management processAnalyse tender specifications and liaise with countries mainly in the APAC region for accurate and timely responsesCoordinate with global/ regional/ country stakeholders and country subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop technical proposals accurately, presenting the best solutions of what DP World can offerRecommend optimal solutions for clients based on DP World’s service offeringsOversee all aspects of pre contract by ensuring the responses are properly managedManage tender bidding records, data and informationSupport other ad-hoc assignment, pricing analysis and projectsMake sure smooth transition to implementation and operation upon business awardProvide post-bid analysis for Commercial team, Procurement team and Management reviewQualifications, Experience, and SkillsBachelor Degree in Logistics / Business Management or equivalentAt least 5 years of relevant experience in pricing/tendering in Freight Forwarding or Logistics industryAdvanced in Microsoft Office, especially MS-Excel skillsAbility to manage bid & pricing tools efficiently, e.g. Ariba, Jagger, Coupa, Xenata, etc.Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic environmentExcellent analytical, planning and numeric skillsNote: The job title in the advertisement serves the purpose of attracting talent and advertising the position.Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
