Job summary:Play the role of TQD representative in the ADF Region to provide a direct interface to government, customers and ADF based TQD teams. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with government officials, managing requests from government entities, coordinating protocol requirements, and ensuring compliance with government regulations and protocols in ADF region.General Responsibilities:Policy, Procedures, Process and SystemsFollow the operational strategy in compliance with group delegation of authority policy.Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.ReportingEnsure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business and organization’s policies and standards.Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.Job Specific Responsibilities:Represent TQD in meetings with government officials, ministries, and regulatory bodies.Facilitate clear and effective communication between TQD and government entities.Collaborate with internal Functions and align operations according to government requirements and mandates.Advise senior leadership on political, legal, and regulatory developments.Oversee support in resolving urgent customer requirements or complaints in the ADF Region.Support in managing key/ VIP accounts in the ADF Region.Coordinate to ensure that ADF Region short term plans cover all stakeholder requirements including key customers, government organizations and regulators.Coordinate with the operations and maintenance team in the ADF Region to ensure the smooth and continuous functioning of power and water networks in the ADF Region.Maintain accurate records of all government interactions and submissions.Prepare regular reports on regulatory risks, opportunities, and engagement outcomes.Provide updates on projects in ADF Region and ensure that they are completed in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the ADF customers.Track and interpret new laws, regulations, and government policies.Ensure the organization complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.HSE, Security, and Risk Protocols:The Employee shall adhere to all the HSE, Security and Risk Management Rules & Procedures communicated by the company, including:Taking reasonable care of their own health, safety, and security.Taking reasonable care of the health, safety and security of persons that may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.Co-operate with their employer with respect to any instruction and/or actions taken by the employer to protect the employee and/ or comply with HSE and security requirements.Report to their immediate line manager any situation which they have reason to believe could present a risk, hazard, or issue to an individual or the company and which they cannot correct themselves.Report all HSE and security incidents and work-related injuries.Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided at the workplace that supports the interest of HSE, security and welfare.People Management Responsibilities:LeadershipActively participate in continuous improvement and professional development activities. Contribute to clear and effective communication, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and facilitating smooth information flow up and down the chain.Essential RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration or equivalent.9 years of relevant working experience.Good communication and strategic thinking skills, with a deep understanding of government affairs, public policy, and industry best practices.Good advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively represent the organization's interests to government entities and other external stakeholders.Desired RequirementsMaster’s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration or equivalent.12 years of relevant working experience.
