Job PurposeOperations Research and Effectiveness (ORE) is an in-house consulting division at the Emirates Group. It is responsible for enhancing our performance by managing complex and critical projects across all business units. ORE delivers significant business benefits from the services strategy, organizational design, process excellence, customer experience, innovation/digital, project management, and business performance.The purpose of the Manager Corporate Project Management, is to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of robust project and change management standards, frameworks, methodologies, and tools that enable Operations Research and Effectiveness (OR&E) to deliver its portfolio of consulting programs and projects with excellence and in alignment with industry best practices, and governance principles. Support the execution of the OR&E project portfolio and act as a Program Manager for complex cross functional business change implementation projects. Responsible for providing enterprise level consultancy/advisory on project management governance, and support to the business in shaping and managing their project portfolios.In This Role, You WillBe accountable for designing, developing, and deploying corporate-wide Centre of Excellence for project and change management best practices, including the ongoing management of the centre. Incorporate organisational behaviour principles into change management practices and collaborate closely with the Organisation Effectiveness team in L&T to effectively addresses human factors, communication strategies, training, and stakeholder engagement.Develop and deliver tool kits and continuous training programs, workshops, and communication materials to support the development of the OR&E team. Work closely with the Learning and Talent team to design and deliver training content for wider Emirates Group employees on Project Management and Change Management methodologies.Be accountable for leveraging project and change management expertise to identify and recommend effective best practices that improve the delivery of the OR&E business project portfolio. Initiatives include oversight of capacity and resource allocation, benefits tracking, accelerating project delivery timelines, improving project planning processes, managing multiple projects and programs, supporting structure redesign, and conducting project / program change and maturity assessments.Lead the design and implementation of integrated programme plans for complex cross functional implementation initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment and transparent progress tracking. Provide strategic direction to the associated project ensuring timely tracking of issues, proactive risk identification and effective risk management.Explore, build, and nurture external industry network contacts to ensure the company remain at the forefront of project and change management standards and practices. Proactively investigate the use of best practice studies to initiate adoption of good project governance and inform internal standards.Lead the design and deployment of standards and processes to manage the benefits planning, tracking and realisation ensuring accurate and consistent reporting and closing of projects including post project reviews. Consult and advise on the success of programmes and provide guidance on corrective actions to gain maximum benefit and impact.Lead and develop a high-performing team by setting clear expectations and promoting continuous improvement and collaboration, provide support through coaching and mentoring and ensure the team are equipped to deliver strategic initiatives with excellence and alignment to organisational goals.QualificationTo be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements: Completed Degree in Business/Project Management (12+3 or equivalent) or similar discipline. 10+ years of working experience in a project management environment with project manager experience in a customer facing role. Plus, 3 years practicing certified Project Professional (PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, CAPM).Excellent planning, communication, verbal, written, presentation, and report writing skills are essential.Extensive demonstrable experience of Microsoft office applications, including MS Project.Experience managing large Project Portfolios, Programmes and Project Steering Groups for the executive leadership team.Extensive end-to-end project management and change management experience in delivery of large complex cross functional projects across a variety of fields and disciplines.Successfully led the delivery of multiple large-scale, high-impact projects of significant strategic importance to the business.Experienced in Programme and project portfolio design, development, and deployment.Experience in designing, developing, and deploying project methods & standards at a project management office level.Extensive experience managing internal and external stakeholders, including developing relationships and managing expectations at a senior executive level with particular emphasis on being able to negotiate and influence senior management.At Emirates, we're committed to providing our employees with opportunities to grow and develop in their careers.
