Job Description

AUG is looking for a capable, people-driven HR person to strengthen our culture, elevate our HR practices, and support our nationwide team. The role has the opportunity to cover the Southeast Asia region and ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and hands-on execution, from talent acquisition and employee relations to training, policy development, and HR systems management.About the RoleTalent Acquisition & RecruitmentSupport recruitment activities, including shortlisting, interviews, reference checks, and coordinating confirmations, resignations, handovers, and exit processes.Employee Relations & CultureAssist in addressing employee concerns, supporting conflict resolution, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen morale and workplace culture.Training, Development & OnboardingHelp manage onboarding, in-house training, external development programs, familiarization trips, staff conferences, and internal engagement events.HR System ManagementMaintain accurate HR system data, support leave and claims processes, liaise with vendor on system matters, and assist with SOPs, guides, and staff training.HR Policies & ComplianceSupport policy reviews, ensure alignment with labour laws, communicate updates, and assist with compliance checks and HR audits.Coaching & Team DevelopmentSupport the development of the HR team and other staff members through structured communication, guidance, and continuous learning.RequirementsStrong command of English (written and spoken).Mandarin proficiency is preferredMinimum 3–5 years of experience in HR, with exposure to multiple HR functionsStrong interpersonal, communication, and advisory skillsGood knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practicesExperience leading a small HR team or supervising projects is preferredAble to work independently and drive initiatives across multiple officesHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
