Manager, Digital Content and CommunicationsFounded in 2011, by His Majesty King Charles III, The King's Trust Canada (formerly the Prince's Trust Canada), is a national charity that creates pathways to employment for young people facing barriers by providing free skills training, work experience and networking opportunities. We work with leading Canadian employers, community partners, and educational institutions to advance our mission of helping 100,000 young people increase their employability.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications, the Manager, Digital Content and Communications will manage the planning, coordination, and advancement of organizational communications, with a strong focus on digital strategy, content delivery, and campaign execution. With expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and performance planning, this role carries responsibility for ensuring that communications activities are strategic, responsive, and aligned with organizational priorities.This role is central to TKTC’s ability to deliver consistent, creative, and impactful messaging across platforms. The Manager will manage digital campaigns, oversee marketing budgets, and collaborate with internal teams to highlight programming milestones and partner visibility. By combining creative fluency with data-informed decision making, the role ensures that TKTC’s communications are optimized for reach, clarity, and engagement. The Manager demonstrates strong capability in digital marketing and communications planning. They combine technical expertise with campaign management and cross-departmental coordination, bringing a collaborative approach and a commitment to excellence, accuracy, and strategic storytelling.Please Note: This full-time role has a hiring range of $62,500 – $69,000 and includes an employee benefits program and three (3) weeks' vacation (in addition to a winter break, approximately 1 week). This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week at our Downtown Toronto office. Occasional travel within the GTA may be required for event support, along with occasional work outside of standard working hours (evenings, weekends).RESPONSIBILITIESCampaigns and Digital ContentManage the planning, drafting, and scheduling of organizational content across digital platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), ensuring alignment with events, milestones, brand standards and interdepartmental requirements.Oversee the creation and adaptation of digital materials in Canva and other design tools, ensuring creative consistency and impact.Lead content capture efforts at events, including photo, video, and testimonial collection for social and partner-facing use.Manage newsletter drafting and distribution (Cyber Impact or similar platforms), repurposing content for targeted audiences.Monitor engagement metrics, prepare reports, and provide insights to inform future campaign planning.Marketing and Digital StrategyManage digital advertising budgets and campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and TikTok for Business etc.Optimize analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meltwater, etc.) to measure and support campaign performance.Deliver campaign testing, targeting, and reporting to improve audience engagement.Maintain and update website content (WordPress) and SEO best practices to ensure timely, accessible, and accurate information.Research emerging tools and trends to strengthen TKTC’s digital fluency and future strategies.Brand Visibility and Partner SpotlightsEnsure consistent brand visibility through strategic campaigns, recognition materials, and storytelling across channels.Support the visibility of TKTC’s partners and funders, delivering recognition aligned with stewardship priorities.Develop branded spotlights, digital stories, and recognition posts to highlight partnerships, placements, and organizational milestones.Work with relevant departments (Fund Development, Partnerships, Programming, or others.) to deliver timely content that strengthens partner engagement.Manage vendor relationships, as required, to support high-quality content production and campaign delivery.Communications Oversight and CollaborationManage departmental workflows, project trackers, and approvals to ensure timely delivery of communications.Serve as the day-to-day liaison between Communications and other departments, triaging requests and ensuring communications are responsive and aligned with priorities.Provide review and guidance on communications deliverables, ensuring quality and consistency across platforms.Partner across teams to support event promotion, announcements, and mission-driven campaigns.Contribute to departmental planning, reporting, and budget processes.General DutiesCollaborates directly with internal teams and partners or external vendors to manage communications activities and achieve shared organizational goals.Manages the creation, review, and updating of communications content, templates, and operational documents, ensuring consistency with brand and organizational standards.Leverages specialized knowledge in digital communications and marketing to keep TKTC aligned with current trends, tools, and best practices in the field.Exhibits expertise in digital platforms and campaign execution, ensuring communications deliverables are timely, accurate, and impactful.Employs strong analytical and solution-oriented skills to identify and resolve communications challenges, optimizing workflows and outcomes.Uses interpersonal and communication abilities to liaise across departments, manage expectations, and ensure clarity on communications priorities and objectives.Provides oversight to current or future direct reports, interns, and volunteers contributing to departmental and organizational priorities.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESQualifications Degree or post-secondary training in communications, marketing, digital media, or related field; or a combination of education and experience.4–6 years of professional experience in digital communications or marketing; Nonprofit, marketing agency, or campaign-facing experience a strong asset.Demonstrated experience managing digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok for Business etc.), reporting, and metrics.Proficiency with communications and publishing tools (Canva, CMS tools such as WordPress, Cyber Impact/Mailchimp, Meltwater, Hootsuite etc.).Experience managing content calendars and coordinating campaign rollouts.Excellent verbal and written communication, editing, and visual storytelling skills.Familiarity with collaboration tools such as SharePoint and MS 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Lists etc.), Notion, Monday.com, Asana etc.Eligibility to work in Canada.Skills and Attributes Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns within prescribed timelines.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when managing files, timelines, and published materials to align with brand and campaign guidelines.Sound judgment to escalate, redirect, or resolve communications requests as needed.Collaborative and responsive working style; able to engage cross-functional teams, incorporate feedback, and manage strong working relationships.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage internal coordination, external engagement, and content clarity.Initiative and follow-through;
