Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionThe Total Rewards Leader is a strategic and tactical HR leader responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of comprehensive Total Rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, wellness, and recognition. This individual will also lead the strategy for effective utilization of HR technology and drive digital transformation in the Paylocity HRIS system using the information to provide critical people and business insights. This enterprise level role is instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring scalability, compliance, and alignment with the company’s growth and people strategy. Initial key initiatives for the enterprise include establishing and maintaining standard policy and pay practices, job titles and descriptions, career ladders, and incentive plans.RequirementsTotal Rewards Strategy and Execution Partner with principles to integrate compensation and benefits information systems into operations, establishes efficiency standards, improves, and streamlines processes. Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive benefit and pay practices and to determine employee needs, trends, regulations, and practices. Design and manage compensation, benefits, and incentive programs that attract, retain, and motivate talent. Develop and maintain job architecture, including job descriptions, career ladders, salary bands, and titling standards. Oversee development, administration, and communication of merit, bonus and incentive plans. Responsible for annual renewal planning, design and setup of benefits open enrollment process, carrier interfaces and vendor management, benefit summaries and communications. Advises on strategic and legal aspects of 401(k) plan design, testing, administration, and audit support.Policy and Compliance Oversight Establish standard processes, SOP creation, policy workflows, knowledge management and governance over how documentation supports compliance and scalability across HR functions. Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and other regulatory requirements. Oversee leave management, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims. Lead preparation and submission of compliance reporting (e.g., EEO-1, VETS-4212) and manage employment verification compliance, data integrity and security access audits.HRIS, Data & Analytics Leadership Lead HR technology utilization, drive digital transformation in Paylocity HRIS system. Guide system configuration for compensation, benefits, performance, and talent development. Serve as owner of the HRIS roadmap, ensuring optimal functionality, integrations, and scalability. Ensure HR data integrity through audits, governance, and system security protocols. Design, implement, and maintain complex HRIS configurations, custom workflows, and field structures within Paylocity; develop APIs and leverage reporting tools (e.g., Power BI). Harnesses the power of HR analytics and financial data to drive decision-making, predict workforce trends, and crafts interventions in support of HRBP and Operators. Drive process automation and workflow optimization across HR functions.M&A and Organizational Growth Lead Total Rewards and HRIS due diligence efforts during mergers and acquisitions. Evaluate HR and financial risks, validate data, and support post-merger integration activities. Build systems and programs that scale with organizational growth and evolving needs.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Advanced degree (MBA, MHRM) preferred 7+ years of progressive HR experience in Total Rewards Deep knowledge of compensation design, benefits management, and compliance Mastery over HRIS systems, Paylocity, Power BI, and familiarity with emerging HR tech trends Strong understanding of employment law, benefit regulations, and reporting requirements Working knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply human resource disciplines including compensation practices, employee relations, policies and federal, state employment laws Demonstrated ability to influence at all organizational levels through clear, informed, and persuasive discourse Experience in an industrial, multi-entity, or high-growth environmentKey Competencies Strategic Thinking – Aligns Total Rewards strategy with organizational goals Leadership & Influence – Communicates effectively with senior leaders; leads cross-functional initiatives.
