This role is key to supporting the financial compliance and accounting aspects of the JV company called BioAtrium AG incorporated in Switzerland.The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders such as the BioAtrium CFO, BioAtrium Leadership Team (BLT), Lonza Shared Services, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring financial transparency, accounting accuracy, and compliant financial reporting. This work requires a strong understanding of IFRS and Swiss GAAP in combination with the legal and contractual set-up of the Joint Venture operating in the pharmaceutical CDMO space. The full list of our local tailored benefits can also be found below: assetstream.aspx (lonza.com) What You Will DoManage and develop the BioAtrium Internal Control System (ICS)Oversee day-to-day accounting operations with Lonza Shared ServicesEnsure compliance with IFRS and Lonza’s Management Accounting Manual (MAM)Lead monthly financial reporting under IFRS and Local GAAPPrepare annual statutory financial reports and manage audits with the external consultantCollaborate with external consultants and authorities to prepare annual tax returnsPartner with stakeholders on cost accounting, asset and inventory countsSupport CEO and CFO in preparing Board of Director meetingsWhat We Are Looking ForProven experience in financial compliance and accounting in SwitzerlandStrong analytical skills and structured working styleExperience with SAP (S4/Hana implementation is a plus)Knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAPFamiliarity with tax processes and working with local authoritiesAbility to engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teamsExperience with data modeling and reporting tools like Power BI is an asset Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment would be considered as a plus.
