Join us to find the way.Job purposeThe Manager, Health Service Innovation is a contractual role designed to lead a transformation in primary healthcare. This position will drive the pioneering effort to design, test, and integrate groundbreaking health solutions across the Primary Health Care (PHC) umbrella. The core function is to leverage expertise to realize technology-enabled efficiencies and achieve significant, measurable gains in patient access and quality of care. The role’s success hinges on fostering a pervasive culture of innovation and ensuring the rapid, standardized scaling of all proven pilots across BRAC’s comprehensive health operation footprint.Key responsibilitiesPlan, implement, and oversee innovation test-bed pilots for new health technologies under the PHC portfolio, ensuring effective design, training, execution, and evaluation.Continuously explore and assess emerging medical and digital innovations to enhance primary healthcare efficiency, outcomes, and cost-effectiveness.Establish and manage a dynamic pipeline of promising med-tech and public health solutions through active engagement with innovation hubs, startups, and research partners.Coordinate with internal teams, technical experts, and external partners to co-create and refine innovative solutions aligned with BRAC and national health priorities.Develop scale-up and integration plans for proven pilots, including operational guidelines, SOPs, and capacity-building materials for programme roll-out.Oversee budgets, tools, personnel, and project timelines; monitor performance metrics and report progress and outcomes to senior management.Build and manage collaborations with technology providers, universities, NGOs, and donors to support innovation co-development and implementation.Develop concept notes, business cases, and cost-benefit analyses to secure organizational and donor approval for innovation initiatives.Document pilot results, share learnings across teams, and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation through internal and external communications.Undertake additional responsibilities as required, maintaining flexibility to address evolving programme priorities and emerging innovation opportunities.Safeguarding responsibilitiesEnsure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.Additional job requirementsStrong project management skills in planning, budgeting, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Effective communicator and team collaborator across diverse stakeholders; skilled in reporting and presentations.Proactive leader with a strong sense of initiative and commitment to innovation.Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to travel to field sites as required.Proficient in English and Bangla; skilled in digital tools, data analysis, and health technology platforms.Strong grasp of healthcare systems with awareness of emerging health technologies and evolving industry trends.Proven commitment to applying innovative solutions to enhance health outcomes, particularly for underserved communities.Strategic thinking and ability to link data to decisions.Flexibility to adapt to changing program needs and technologies.Educational requirementsMBBS degree from any recognised institute.
