Manager I Accounting

Job Title:Manager I AccountingJob DescriptionThe Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the accounting operations for the LATAM region, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP. The role requires managing a team to deliver accurate financial reporting and close processes, while fostering improvements and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities:Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Review financial statements and subsidiary schedules for compliance and accuracy.Coordinate the distribution of financial information and communicate effectively with clients to meet contract requirements.Lead and coordinate external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.Evaluate and enhance internal controls, ensuring alignment with team goals and industry standards.Stay updated on technical accounting and software issues relevant to the industry.Communicate departmental goals, developing strategies for implementation.Manage bank reconciliations, trial balances, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany accounts, and P&L and balance sheet variances.Candidate Profile:Experience in a large multinational company is desirable, with essential knowledge of end-to-end processes.Proven experience managing teams, especially during periods of substantial change.Track record of leading continuous improvement projects.Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.High proficiency in English (B2 - C1 level), both written and spoken.Ability to work independently, remotely, and flexibly to meet reporting deadlines.Location:El Salvador- San SalvadorLanguage Requirements:Time Type:Full timeIf you are a California resident, by submitting your information, you acknowledge that you have read and have access to the Job Applicant Privacy Notice for California ResidentsR1671750
