Our diverse and multidisciplinary team brings together skill sets across Finance.The role we specifically require is within the Finance Transformation service offering. Finance Transformation is a strategic assessment of an organisation’s finance operating model including systems, processes, people and operations, aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness, enhancing decision-making, and aligning financial functions with broader business objectives using digital technologies and other improvements.Your OpportunityWith continued growth and strong pipeline, we are now seeking a Manager to join our team, with a focus to supporting Finance Transformation engagements across EPM solutions covering planning, budgeting and forecasting, reporting (Performance and Financial), data analytics and insights, and integration of AI in Finance.You will work with some of the country’s leading clients as well as the wider national team, in a positive, collaborative and team focused environment. This role is ideally suited to candidates who have prior finance transformation experience as well as experience managing cross-functional teams ideally in a Consulting environment or in a transformation capacity, and who are seeking an opportunity to broaden their experience working with different clients, as well as undertaking challenging and rewarding work harnessing their leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.How Are You ExtraordinaryFunctional Operating Model KnowledgeUnderstanding of leading practice across the finance operating model (e.g. in relation to processes and controls, systems, service delivery model) and deep understanding of process dependencies across other functional areas (for example sourcing, human resources etc)Ability to provide strategic insights and support decision making across core finance operating model Technological ProficiencyDeep understanding of how a system implementation project is delivered (e.g. phases, core teams, standard deliverables)Advanced ERP / EPM / Cloud technology experience through previous engagements or industry experience (e.g. Oracle EPM, Adaptive, Anaplan, Onestream etc)Ability to articulate functional business requirements to technical requirements and facilitate solution design and developmentExperience delivering end to end EPM engagements including technical build and deployment Delivery Management / Stakeholder ManagementAbility to lead day to day activities, managing large teams to meet program timelines and identify risks and issues as they ariseAbility to delegate / oversee tasks to completionAbility to form and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior project stakeholdersAgility and adaptability to navigate and manage key project disruptions Communication & PresentationAbility and confidence and strong presentation skills to present to executives on project status/recommendation and outcomes Analysis & Problem SolvingAbility to articulate data analysis requirements to team members and manage effectively Innovation & Continuous ImprovementContinually seeking opportunities to improve finance processes and performance Your ExperienceRecent experience in the areas of finance operations, shared services, financial planning & analysis, and accounting ideally in a consulting environment or in a transformation program.Core finance process and finance operating model knowledge and experienceWorking knowledge of ERP/EPM system concepts and general module functionalityExperience of budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and strategic planningUnderstanding of the major phases of EPM implementationDemonstrated experience in solution design to support the implementation of EPM productsStrong stakeholder management and relationship management skillsExcellent verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write at a client-ready quality level QualificationsBachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university.Certifications in EPM solutions is highly desirableAdditional InformationApplicants must be currently authorised to work in Australia without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureTravel may be required for this role KPMG is a professional services firm with global outreach and deep sector experience.
