Job DescriptionThe KPMG Global Services (KGS) Tax is a diverse team spread across multiple cities in India. We provide tax and compliance services to KPMG Firms globally. Our core services include Business Tax, Global Mobility, Indirect Tax, Global Transfer Pricing, Global Trade Compliance and Tax Technology delivered by our professionals, who are known for their technical acumen and business insights to deliver exceptional client service.Through your work, you’ll build a global network and unlock opportunities that you may not have thought possible with access to great support, vast resources, and an inclusive, supportive environment to help you reach your full potential.ResponsibilitiesRoles & responsibilitiesManage client expectations and delivery of services to expatriate employees of corporate clientsDevelop and maintain relationships with clientsDevelop and review tax equalization and international assignment policiesReview and sign tax returns and equalizations of expatriate and inpatriate employeesMentor and coach staffManage resource allocation, workflow, and resource utilizationKeep track of budgets and profitability of the engagement.Manage reporting to the client and KPMG stakeholders.QualificationsEducational qualificationsMinimum master’s degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance ExperienceEnrolled Agent Certification or CPAMandatory technical & functional skillsThe candidate must have 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a Big 4 FirmExperience managing multiple client engagements and client service teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).Broad exposure to federal income taxation and knowledge of tax regulationsKey behavioral attributes/requirementsPersonal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations without compromising on quality and ethical standards and valuesExcellent written and Exceptional communication skillsStrong Leadership and personnel management skills, Analytical skills with detail orientation.Team player; self-driven and ability to work independently as well as able to motivate team membersGrowth and commercial MindsetStrong Analytical ability.Target driven and customer focus.People management skills with demonstrated ability to build a transparent and cohesive team.Work collaboratively with the clients and deliver quality services by enforcing quality and KPMG standards.Preferred Technical & Functional SkillsKnowledge on Financial Services sector from Global Mobility tax perspective is an added advantage.An awareness of and an interest in the US political and economic environment.#KGS
