Manager (Liaison & Shipping Engagement)

What The Role IsYou are responsible to Head Information Fusion Centre (IFC) for developing and reviewing Information IFC's shipping engagement strategies, plans and policies while planning and executing activities to engage the shipping community and deepening in-house expertise on the shipping industry.What You Will Be Working On Maintain relations with stakeholders, expand shipping linkages and deepen in-house expertise on shipping industry Develop and review shipping engagement strategies, plans and initiatives such as Shared Awareness Meetings, Shipping Company visits, and Maritime Security events Enhance collaboration with shipping community, improve information-sharing, and strengthen overall maritime awareness and response Plan and organise regular meetings with maritime and law enforcement agencies, and shipping community Participate and/or represent the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) or IFC in maritime security-related activities to engage shipping community and widen sources of information Identify and establish relationships with shipping companies, National Servicemen and academic institutions to obtain expertise and/or potential collaborations on Maritime Security-related topics Conduct research and analysis on global and local shipping and crew profiles ship design trends, standards and regulations, and marine industry developments to determine anomalies in Maritime Security landscapeChallenge(s) Engaging with various levels of maritime stakeholders and people of different backgrounds while being sensitive when dealing with themWhat We Are Looking For At least 2 years of relevant work experience in commercial shipping sector, events management or public relations Strong communication skills Motivated and self-driven attitude Strong management skills to manage multiple projects/initiativesAppointment will be commensurate with your experience.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
