Job Description
The American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) is seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to grow event registrations, membership leads, and sponsor engagement. You’ll create and execute campaigns across email, social, and digital channels, while also supporting website updates and reporting.
This is a great opportunity for an early- to mid-career marketer who wants to take on more ownership, expand their skills, and make a visible impact in a mission-driven national association.
In this role, you’ll: • Develop and run email + social media campaigns (paid + organic) • Write compelling copy and design simple visuals in Canva • Apply basic SEO/UX practices and support website updates • Repurpose content (webinars, events, spotlights) for email/social use • Track campaign performance with Google Analytics (GA4) and platform dashboards • Support membership recruitment, retention, and sponsorship visibility • Collaborate with teammates and vendors to keep projects on track
What we’re looking for: • 2+ years of marketing experience (association, nonprofit, or similar) • Experience with digital marketing tools (email, social ads, segmentation, retargeting) • Strong writing/editing skills + design ability (Canva a must) • Proficiency with WordPress, email platforms, CRM/databases, and social tools • Comfort with Google Analytics and campaign reporting • Organized, adaptable, and eager to grow!
