We flourish as a people orientated and innovation driven organization where we develop people to build a sustainable career path.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain effective communication with buyers regarding product development, sampling, costing, approvals, and delivery schedules.Negotiate prices, delivery lead times, and order terms with buyers.Manage the buyer’s critical path to ensure on-time sample and order delivery.Oversee new product development according to buyer requirements and market trends.Coordinate with design and sample departments for product approval.Ensure timely submission of samples (fit, photo, size set, etc.) and approvals.Prepare accurate product costing and quotations.Analyze material and production costs to ensure profitability.Support management during price negotiations.Liaise with production, planning, and procurement teams for smooth order execution.Ensure raw materials and trims are available before production starts.Monitor production progress and ensure shipment timelines are maintained.Supervise and train merchandisers and assistant merchandisers.Allocate workload effectively across the team.Motivate the team to achieve targets and maintain high performance.Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure product standards meet buyer requirements.Ensure all orders comply with buyer specifications, safety, and compliance standards.Maintain updated records for orders, samples, and approvals.Prepare regular reports on order status, production progress, and shipment performance.Analyze merchandising performance and suggest improvements.Any other assignment given by the management time to time.Educational RequirementsBachelor/HonorsMaster of Business Administration (MBA)Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, Fashion Design, or a related field.MBA or Post-Graduate Diploma in Merchandising will be an added advantage.Experience Requirements8 to 10 year(s)Additional RequirementsExperience RequirementsMinimum 8–10 years of experience in merchandising, including at least 3 years in a managerial role in a reputed garments factory or buying house.Additional RequirementsStrong communication and negotiation skills.Excellent leadership and team management ability.Good understanding of garment manufacturing processes.Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and email communication.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Job LocationNarayanganj
