Position SummaryIn this role within the O&M and Asset Management department, you will provide support to Vena Energy Offshore Wind projects pipeline in the APAC region with a homebase in Japan.The Manager, Asset Integrity, will be part of the operational asset management team and contribute to supporting the entire process of managing risks related to offshore wind project development with the perspective of implementing the asset management system similar or compliant with ISO55000 framework based on ISO31000.Risk management being at the core of what we do, the Manager, Asset Integrity, O&M, will support the different tasks related to identifying and managing risks that impact safety, security, asset integrity, reputation, or financial success in relation to the O&M Asset Management.You will interact and interface with peers from any other Vena Energy corporate functions such as permitting and consenting, engineering and technical support departments, and will be engaging with external stakeholders such as national grid operator, external consultants or similar.You will overall use project management and leadership skills to establish and maintain the agreed level of effectiveness of our projects.You will seek to seize the opportunity to further develop his/her technical, commercial, financial, project management and leadership skills working with an established, experienced team.The Manager, Asset Integrity, O&M, will report to Group Head, O&M and Asset Management, as direct line manager.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate the technical inputs and documents to project development and asset management concepts.Identification and mitigation of risks related to asset management and O&M. Ensure diligent contribution to the Offshore Wind business unit risk management process.Schedule O&M package deliverables and ensure all related timely deliverables.Evaluate and comment design concepts, technical solutions etc. related to asset integrity and operability parameters, to contribute to the design and engineering processes.Establish, maintain and update financial budgets related to operational expenditure (OPEX) and support to CAPEX Page 2 of 2Provide technical expertise with a commercial mindset in contractual or commercial work or due diligence processes. Ensure relevant technical inputs to procurement and contract management process such as contractor assessment and selection, control of deliverables in terms of quality, timing and budgetary frameworks.Support procurement processes by engagement with the relevant internal and external stakeholders. Ensure a strong relationship to relevant supply chain contractors or service providers, engineering consultants, OEMs etc. Work closely with the corporate procurement functions, including commercial and legal support, with the objective of achieving the most optimal financial, qualitative and timeframe related outcome.Establish and maintain a strong relationship to relevant authorities, governmental bodies, grid operators, distribution network operators, and other external stakeholders Ensure relationship to the contribution to the GR, PR and stakeholder management processes.Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge RequiredA university degree from major studies with electrical engineering, preferably high-voltage backgroundAt least 5 years of prior experience in offshore wind, oil & gas or major asset management unit.Experience in Electrical Engineering (high voltage), Cost Management, Commercial Contracting.Sound knowledge of industry good practices and latest trends.Efficient time management and co-ordination abilities in meeting tight deadlines.Collaborative and rational mindset in problem-solving and conflict management.Ability to build and maintain sound relationship with industry players.Effective communication skills with business level English, and preferable knowledge of Japanese, Mandarin or KoreanAre you ready to engineer a greener future?
