Key member of the Line 2 Operational Risk function.Partner with your stakeholders.Deliver changes that drive uplift in operational risk management capability and risk culture.Our Line 2 Risk team is passionate about putting customers first, partnering with others in pragmatically driving action, and supporting business decisions which deliver the best outcomes for our stakeholders, people, and customers.Te Tūranga | The role:Use your expertise to identify, manage, and mitigate operational risk across ASB, including change management risk.Play a key Line 2 advisory, review, and challenge role, collaborating with Line 1 teams to meet operational risk requirements.Build strong relationships and share information with stakeholders across L1 and L2 Risk, and CBA.Support the maintenance and enhancement of ASB’s Operational Risk Management Framework Policy and documentation.Deliver high-quality, timely analysis, reporting, and reviews that surface meaningful insights and promote robust governance.Contribute to key strategic initiatives to improve operational risk processes and help lift risk maturity across the business.Foster a culture of continuous learning and demonstrate our PACE mindsets every day.Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau? | What do I need to be successful?3 to 5 years’ experience in financial services, ideally with risk management domain knowledge and expertise.Strong conceptual, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Analytical skills to quickly analyse data and design effective solutions.Appetite for continuous learning, development, and growth.Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to network, influence, and relate well with peers and stakeholders.Outstanding communication and written skills, with the ability to present clear, concise, and effective reports and insights.If you’re ready to take the next step in your risk career and thrive in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, we’d love to hear from you!He aha tā mātou | What can we offerGet the work-life equation right.
