In this pivotal role, you'll lead the design and delivery of our People Strategy—driving and delivering initiatives that foster inclusive leadership, build cultural capability, and strengthen engagement across the Ministry. You'll be at the forefront of influencing senior leaders and driving an ambitious organisational development programme of work, crafting innovative development programmes that directly support our organisational goals. With your expertise in strategy, data-driven insights, and change leadership, you'll influence senior leaders, uplift organisational maturity, and help build a Ministry where all our people thrive.

You WillLead the development and refresh of the Ministry's People Strategy and associated sub-strategies. Design and deliver organisational development programmes with clear intervention logic. Drive maturity uplift through data insights and evaluation. Influence senior leaders and leadership teams through coaching and strategic advice. Foster a high-performance, inclusive team culture focused on strategic impact and operational excellence.

Ō Pūkenga/Skills And ExperienceTo be successful in this role, we are looking for you to have: Extensive demonstrable experience in strategy development, programme delivery and evaluation in organisational development. Expertise in leadership development, inclusion and diversity and cultural capability. Strong understanding of organisational maturity models and data-driven evaluation. Demonstrated commitment to Māori Crown Relations and te Tiriti o Waitangi.
