OverviewThe role holder will manage a team of indirect operational material buyers (for Maintenance, Make & Move) for the UK Ops. The team will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and buying of goods materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of operations. The role holder will monitor team effectiveness against respective KPIs agreed in the SLAs with the UK BU and will assume accountability for any deviations against the agreed metrics. To ensure exceptional operational services are provided to UK functions ICC is supporting. This lead role will provide management oversight to 6-7 Associates and serve as lead liaison between GCC Team and UK. This role will also support transformation initiatives being led by the UK Transformation Center team. The individual will be responsible to implement process improvements and standardization within the capabilityResponsibilitiesLeading, managing and coaching/mentoring the team in ICC.Product selection, negotiation on vendor selection, pricing, delivery and requesting vendor to be added to MDGManage the learning and Development process of the GCC teamCoordinate work with BU stakeholders and cross functional Hub leaders to ensure full understanding and support of strategic sourcing perspective to key processesFostering of strong relationships with suppliers / monitoring of supplier performance, periodic reviews with global procurement teams, generate innovation and productivityMonitor KPIs and lead the Continuous performance improvement initiativesSupport systems development and adaptation from the teamServe as Primary Point of Contact for Issue ResolutionLead Governance and Performance ReportingProvide additional support during peak periodsCollaborate on Process Transformation InitiativeSupport Digital Transformation EffortsQualificationsEducation: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Administration, Data Analytics or SCMinimum 7-9 years of P2P work experienceExcellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processesStrong communication skills to manage information gathering requestsResults oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely mannerProficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to quickly learnAptitude to work with minimal supervisionDetail-oriented; organized in approach and in document maintenanceAbility to manage multiple time sensitive prioritiesAbility to function well in a team environmentConsistently shows urgency, courtesy and patienceExceptional communication skills.
