Process Automation is a world leading provider of flow control solutions for critical applications across the Energy, Marine and Pharmaceutical markets.About the RoleThe Manager - Project Management will be responsible for supervising a team of Project Engineers and smooth execution of all projects. She/he manages the elements of cost, time, scope, and quality of a project. This individual strives to maintain the progress and mutual interaction and tasks of various parties in such a way that reduces the risk of overall failure and maximizes benefits. This position will take ownership of assigned projects from the quoting stage until the order is commercially closed, including customer communication.What We OfferOpportunity to join a diverse, dynamic, and fun global team that likes to challenge the status quo with new ideas and maximum creativity.Strong Career progression opportunities.ResponsibilitiesManage the contract to control project costs and meet or exceed gross margin requirements.Manage the contract to increase order value at an increased profit.Project Planning & Scheduling, Cost Control, Revenue Planning.Project Progress review meetings with team, customers & consultants.Negotiate contractual scope changes with customers.Coordinate and respond to all customer inquiries on technical/commercial issues.Coordinates work of engineering, quality assurance, purchasing production, shipping, and finance to implement fulfilment of contracts.Project reviews/ approvals monitoring.Risk analysis & mitigation, contractual claims management.Responsible for negotiating CCI out of penalties when imposed by customer.Billing plan preparation & approval with customer.Contractual communications with customer & progress reporting.Project document deliverable monitoring.Commercial aspects like duties & taxes, PAC, Import License, etc.Billing submission, payment receivables management.Post commissioning support to customers.Manage projects from receipt of order through expiration of warranty.Project Closure.Assist in the training of new Project Management personnel.Guiding the team through the project execution and ensuring adherence to timelines, budget and quality.Attend weekly project reviews with customers.Act on resolution actions against customer complaints speedily.Ensure collection of all receivables from customers.Preparation of monthly reports, both customer monthly project reports and monthly internal reports.Forecasting revenue, cash flow, on-time delivery and ensuring the forecasted numbers.Critical Competencies for SuccessERP - SAP or equivalent system knowledge desiredBusiness communicationInterpersonal skills.BE (Mechanical Engineering) with 14-18 years post qualification experience with valve industryPMP CertificationKnowledge of concepts, practices, and products in the valve industry.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to meet customers.Exposure to international customersAbility to adhere to international business protocol / etiquette and to work in different time zones (e.g.) Americas / Asia Pacific / Europe / Middle East etc.Good academic track recordMust possess good writing and communication and presentation skills.Willingness to learn fast, adapt to changes and put into practice.Self-disciplined, with high integrity and respect to processes.Ability to lead a team of engineers.Ability to communicate and manage stakeholders to ensure progress of jobs.IMI is an inclusive employer; diversity is very important to us, and we want to receive applications from people from all backgrounds
