Read more about us www.westinghousenuclear.com .About The RoleAs a Manager Project Procurement – Supply Chain your main responsibility will be to lead a project PPM team within high complexity projects.You will report to the EMEA Manager, Projects Procurement and be located in Västerås, Sweden.Model of work: hybrid.Travel: Europe - 10% to 20% of your time.Key ResponsibilitiesElaborate and define the Project Procurement Program schedule.Conduct all pre and post award project procurement activities associated with EPC/EPIC/EPCM projects as applicableDevelop procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams. Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers and establish a communication channel toward the suppliers.Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirementsEnsure commercial compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's procurement procedures.RFx development and preparation, definition of commercial conditionsAnalyze all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements. Develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value.Develop the procurement strategy for procuring goods and services necessary for the project in compliance with the set requirements.Develop relationships with main suppliers and partners while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.Explore the market in collaboration with different teams to identify new technologies that create value for the end customer. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in project procurement management.Managing EPIC Project Procurement activities experience.Experience from Supply Chain, purchasing of services and equipment for major projects, including Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC).Knowledge of NEC/FIDIC regulationsLeadership experienceFull professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.MeritoriousAdditional European language - Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish.
