About the JobPosition Summary: As the Manager, Quality (Consumer Electronics), you will play a key role in achieving our annual quality goals. You will be responsible for ensuring that our factories meet Walmart’s high standards for quality, compliance, and safety. This involves leading quality assurance processes and continuous improvement projects to proactively minimize product risks and challenges for our customers.Location: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, VietnamAbout The TeamThe Product Quality Assurance & Quality Control team is dedicated to managing the product quality process from factory selection to shipment. We ensure that all products are safe, legal, and "fit for purpose" to support our merchandising strategy and guarantee customer satisfaction. We drive continuous improvement by analyzing feedback from customer returns and in-store assessments, and we also perform production capability and capacity checks to ensure on-time delivery.About The RoleThis is a crucial, hands-on role where you will directly impact the success of our products by ensuring they meet or exceed our quality standards. You will be responsible for auditing our factories to ensure they are capable of meeting our compliance and safety requirements. You will work directly with factories to carry out quality assurance and control processes, including pre-production, in-line, and final product reviews. A core part of your job is to identify and mitigate product risk to minimize potential challenges for both in-store and online customers. You will also lead continuous improvement projects with our supply base and contribute best practices to our Manufacturing Excellence QA Manual.What You'll DoManage the end-to-end quality assurance process for assigned products, from development through manufacturing.Ensure product compliance with safety, legal, and performance requirements of destination countries.Assess and certify products to ensure specifications, sealed samples, and inspection criteria are in place before shipment.Collaborate with suppliers to enhance factory operations, capability, and product quality.Conduct factory pre-audits to evaluate suitability, capability, and capacity.Analyze product returns and complaints to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and develop preventative measures.Prepare concise management reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.Develop and document standard operating procedures and protocols in collaboration with buying teams.Review buying briefs and lead pre-production meetings for major projects.Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.What You'll BringA bachelor's degree in engineering, with a focus on Electrical/Electronic, Production, or Quality Management, or a related scientific/technical field is preferred.At least 10 years of experience in factory production and quality assurance.Proven, hands-on experience working on the production floor within factories.Strong technical expertise in your product area, along with a solid understanding of other product areas.Expert knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, procedures, and best practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong communication and persuasive skills, with a high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English.High integrity, strong business ethics, and a collaborative team-player mindset.Experience in working with retail and direct imports.The ability and willingness to travel as required.This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and qualifications for this position.
