Serve as interface with regulators and staff to promote confidence in competitive markets and in Vistra. Collaborate with and advise Vistra ‘s retail business teams (sales, marketing, compliance, etc.) on rules changes and to develop effective regulatory strategy. Work closely with industry stakeholders and trade groups on activities that impact the competitive retail markets. Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements2+ years relevant college degree programs and/or certifienergy industry experience with focus on retail business, regulatory policy, law, economics or business. Strong verbal and written communication skills, data analysis skills a plus. Ability to focus on details and drive projects to completion with attention to big picture implications. Experience gained through cations is applicable to above skills. Key MetricsMonitor various state-level regulatory activity through individual effort and active participation in industry trade groups. Contribute to Vistra and industry trade group comments in regulatory proceedings. Routinely and timely communicate relevant information to Regulatory Policy management and business teams. Work closely with other internal teams to protect business interests and shape regulatory outcomes.
