Job Description
What The Role IsYou are responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic marketing and publicity campaigns to promote and enhance awareness/attractiveness of the MINDEF/SAF profession and scholarships for tertiary students, working across multiple platforms to engage students, parents, and educators.What You Will Be Working On Develop and implement publicity and marketing campaigns aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals Oversee the planning, productions and distribution of publications, articles and branded content to generate awareness and ensure attractive of the MINDEF/SAF profession and premier scholarshipsTrack campaign effectiveness using appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendation for continuous improvement Manage the contract with an external agency for publicity requirements Liaise with internal stakeholders to support activities such as procurement, contract renewal and tender process Execute publicity efforts on print and online platforms Plan and execute outreach and engagement events/activities Engage potential scholars and their parents at various scholarship engagement events Manage and review budget for publicity effortsChallenge(s) Keeping abreast of new government initiatives, changing trends and expectations of the younger generations Adapting strategies to changing generational expectations Being aware of the terms and conditions of the various scholarshipsWhat We Are Looking For At least 1 year of work experience in human resource, marketing or communications is preferred Strong communications skills Strategic thinking abilities(Applicants with no experience may apply.)Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
