Manager, Strategic Buyer_ Corporate servicesPOSITION SNAPSHOTCompany: NestléPosition SummaryThe Strategic Buyer for Corporate Services is responsible for managing the procurement of corporate services, including but not limited to facilities management, Workplace design, External workforce, Consulting service, Company cars, Travel & Hotels, HR services, Medical Insurance, Legal services, IT services, and professional services.This role requires a strategic mindset to develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with the organization's goals, drive cost savings, and enhance supplier relationships. The Strategic Buyer will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that procurement activities meet those requirements effectively.A DAY IN THE LIFE …Develop and execute sourcing strategies for corporate services to optimize costs and enhance service quality.Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure service delivery and performance.Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement support.Facilitate communication between stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment on expectations and deliverables.Provide guidance and expertise on procurement best practices to internal teams.Analyze the spend and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Develop and maintain procurement metrics to track performance and report on savings achieved.Implement e-Auction and other digital procurement tools to enhance sourcing efficiency.Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to procurement activities.Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships and procurement processes.Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement.What Will Make You Successful…Minimum of 5-7 years in Supply Chain is required (preferred 3-4 years in procurement Corporate services)Demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend category in charge over a sustained period (2-3 years)Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projectsDemonstrated successful use of risk management, analyses, responsible sourcing and supplier relation managementNegotiated successfully in cross-functional and cross-market teams
