If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, keep reading!This is a hybrid opportunity in Mississauga, ON.How You’ll ContributeDevelop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with business objectivesConduct market analysis to identify vendors, assess market trends, and inform sourcing decisionsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and the Business Development team to align strategies and build vendor/channel partnershipsPartner with the Finance team to ensure a seamless end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to invoice processing in Oracle ERPManage RFI/RFP and competitive bidding processes, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contractsDrive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement practicesIdentify, evaluate, and select vendors that meet quality, cost, and service requirementsBuild and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliability and continuous improvementConduct regular performance reviews and address escalations as neededLead cost reduction initiatives and negotiate favorable terms with vendorsAnalyze spend data to identify and implement cost-saving opportunitiesMonitor market trends to anticipate price changes and adjust strategies proactivelyDevelop, negotiate, and manage SLAs, KPIs, and contracts to ensure compliance and risk mitigationOversee the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations in the Contract Management SystemCollaborate with the Security Risk Team to ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirementsIdentify and mitigate supply chain risksServe as the point of contact and subject matter expert for sourcing inquiries, facilitating communication between stakeholders and vendorsStrengths That Shine in This RoleStrong proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and MS Excel for analysis and financial modelingExcellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with business partners and strategic vendorsExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilitiesStrategic mindset with a focus on efficiency, simplification, and achieving resultsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentIn-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices, including experience leading RFIs/RFPs, vendor negotiations, and contractingSkills That Matter In This RoleBachelor’s degree in Strategic Sourcing or related Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldAdvanced degree (MBA) or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is a plus8 to 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management with preference towards IT procurementProven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies in a medium to large-scale organizationExperience in managing supplier relationships and conducting complex negotiationsProven track record of delivering sourcing savings and value creationExperience in managing supplier relationships and conducting complex negotiationsProven track record of delivering sourcing savings and value creationWhy You’ll Love Working HereThrive in an award-winning culture that champions growth, embraces diversity, and fosters inclusion for all.
