This role is critical in ensuring efficient supply chain processes, optimal resource utilization, and alignment with business objectives. The position involves both strategic and operational responsibilities, including team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.What You Will Do:Lead the production planning, serial purchasing, and material flow teamSupervise long-term capacity planning (LPS), mid-term (MPS), and daily planning activities, including necessary coordination and escalationOversee and improve the demand planning processRepresent the Pécs plant in consensus meetings (SIOP)Plan NPI (New Product Introduction) activitiesManage and lead serial purchasing operationsEnsure raw material availability and resolve supply issues, including communication with problematic suppliersMonitor inventory levels and initiate actions to meet strategic business goalsDefine and track KPIs, implement corrective actionsParticipate in development projectsOrganize and supervise employee evaluations and development plansImplement actions to reduce obsolete and slow-moving inventoryMaintain and enforce area-specific instructions, ensure audit readiness and active participationPlan and utilize human and material resources according to targetsPrepare periodic employee evaluationsTake responsibility for the entire material management process, including service RMADevelop improvements for optimal material flowSupport SAP business analyst in restoring supply chain processes in SAPWhat You Need to Be Successful:Strong leadership and organizational skillsAbility to manage complex planning and supply chain processesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesEffective communication and collaboration across departmentsProactive and strategic mindset with attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstancesBonus Points if You Have:Experience in logistics or supply chain development projectsFamiliarity with SAP and integrated ERP systemsProven track record in reducing obsolete inventoryParticipation in audit processes and compliance managementExperience in leading cross-functional teamsWhat Makes You Eligible:Education: University degree or secondary professional qualification in logistics or economicsExperience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in production planningSkills:Fluent English (negotiation level)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesFlexibility and adaptability to changing needsProficiency in MS OfficeKnowledge of integrated ERP systems (preferably SAP)What We Offer:Flexible work environment, allowing for full-time remote work globally for positions that can be performed outside a HARMAN or customer locationAccess to employee discounts on world-class products (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, AKG, and more)Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN UniversityCompetitive wellness benefitsTuition reimbursement“Be Brilliant” employee recognition and rewards programAn inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development
