Manager - Supply Chain Quality

This job was posted by https: //www. kansasworks. com : For moreinformation, please see: https: //www. kansasworks. com/jobs/13340996## OverviewThis position is responsible for the Supplier relationships incross-functional work environment, with daily oversight of SupplierQuality, Supplier Delivery, on-boarding of new suppliers, approvalaudits, desktop audits, on-site audits, and leadership over SQEs. ## Responsibilities**Duties and Responsibilities** Conduct approval process of new suppliers, surveillance of existingsuppliers, with ownership of measurements and improvement projectsand processes. Ability to conduct internal and supplier AS9100 audits, DPD approvalaudits, and tooling supplier approval audits as required.

Manage and oversee the supplier audit schedule ensuring a level andvariety of audits supported and performed. Ability to travel forwork will be required. Manage and oversee the Supplier Quality Review Board presentingmetrics to Supply Chain leadership, and Quality leadership. Responsible for assuring team members receive all required trainingand certifications. Preparation of reports on quality trends and supplier ratings. Effectively work with QE team and other QM Peer Managers. Improve processes and products using Lean and Quality tools. Develop employees and teams to take a more proactive approach toproduct quality and process improvement.

Manage and oversee supplier FAIs as it relates to support ofreceiving inspection at PMC with knowledge to address any suppliergaps in FAIs meeting end-customer requirements. Effectively manage Supplier RCCAs through required quality toolssuch as 8D, 5-whys, Fishbones, etc. Support Internal leadership CAB (corrective action board) meetingwith review of supplier RCCAs.
