Job Description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.Job Responsibilities Responsible for all stages of video production from pre-production, production, to post-production Conceptualise and develop engaging video content, and write scripts and copies that are consistent with brand tonality Ensure that video content supports conservation education and aligns with Mandai content pillars: animal care, conservation, sustainability, rescued animal rehabilitation, and advocacy for behavioural change Produce final video products in suitable formats for social media platforms, websites, education programmes, exhibit interpretives, Life Sciences events, and other educational engagement purposes Catalogue and organise video assets to ensure business continuity Manage video post-production, ensuring quality of deliverables by stipulated deadline and proper project archival according to standard procedures Collaborate effectively as a team player with videographers and producers in Education Content Team to deliver final video products and work with colleagues across departments to gather subject-matter insights and content inputs Undertake other digital production tasks as assignedJob Requirements At least 5 years of working experience in a creative digital environment, specialising in video and multimedia content Diploma/Degree in Video Production, Mass Communication, Film Studies, Multimedia, or related field Positive attitude, self-motivated, resourceful, and a strong team player Possess expertise in creating content for social media platforms, and skilled in sourcing for compelling stories with emotional angles Proven production skillset in both outdoor and indoor environments, proficient in managing modern video production systems, lighting, sound, and technical software Demonstrated ability to conceptualise creative concepts for videos, motion graphics, and animation Hands-on experience and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects Familiar with all aspects of digital quality and output: aspect ratios, file formats, basic audio and colour balancing. Adept in operating Sony α digital camera series Possess a curious mind and keen interest in wildlife and conservation-education Able to work autonomously, prioritise workload and manage timelines Familiarity with wildlife and conservation storytelling, with the ability to produce content that is factually accurate and emotionally engaging, in line with Mandai’s content pillars will be an advantageApplication RequirementInterested candidates are required to provide links to their portfolios showcasing relevant video work.
