Duties and Supporting ResponsibilitiesIT Support ManagementServe as first line support for guest and hotel colleaguesPerform daily system maintenance work to provide a robust and stable IT systemPerform IT maintenance tasks on end points, IT infrastructure, telecommunication technologies, hotel operation applicationsProvide support for meetings and conventions in the hotelProvide training and guidance for IT specialist to perform daily workCybersecurity and Compliance Management Perform daily information security tasks as requiredFollow up vulnerability findings and rectify the issuesReplace or upgrade end of life technology and ensure all EOL technologies are upgraded/replaced before the expiration dateManage end point protection tools and ensure all agents are installed and security controls are enforcedProject ManagementFollow up assigned project tasks and ensure it is completed on timeAttend project meetings and report task statusRequirementsMandatoryTwo years internal IT Specialist experience or three years IT Specialist position within hospitalityExperience with supporting Windows based server and desktop platformExperience with supporting LAN and WLAN environmentAbility to have effective verbal and written communications, at least can read and write in EnglishAbility to pay attention to the detailsAbility to work out of normal business hours when necessaryAbility to work with minimal supervision but also work well with teamsAbility to manage time properly and complete tasks on timeHas customer centric mindset and ability to support guest as neededBilingual in Japanese and EnglishDesirableKnowledge of the technology used in hospitality industry is preferredStrong problem solving and analytic skillsAbility to meet deadlines and work well under pressureDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure qualityEach of the items listed is considered an essential function of the position.
