If you bring world-class craft, speed, and heart, you’ll shape worlds, share in the upside, and be credited as a founder of what we’re building.The RoleJoin our Manga Studio as a Manga Artist (Founding Equity Partner) to create original series like Amedo: Visions of the Gods and one-shots that anchor Anime Universe’s cross-media franchises (manga → anime → games → UGC). You’ll collaborate with writers, designers, and producers to deliver chapters that slap visually, emotionally, commercially.What You’ll DoOwn page-ready art from thumbnails to final: layouts, inks, screentones, FX, lettering passes.Craft dynamic paneling, cinematic framing, and action clarity across shonen/seinen/shojo/josei tones.Co-create with writers on storyboards, pacing, and page turns; iterate fast inside sprints.Build character/creature/prop sheets and style guides for cross-team use.Throughput target @ 20h/wk: 4–6 finished pages/week or 8–12 roughs/week (title/scene complexity may adjust).Develop pilot one-shots and pitch packs for greenlight.Mentor future hires as we scale the studio.🛠 Your ToolkitPortfolio that proves range (combat, quiet moments, expressions, environments).Fluency with Clip Studio Paint EX (preferred), plus Photoshop/Procreate; clean file hygiene.Mastery of tones/halftones, speedlines, SFX integration, and print/export standards.Strong fundamentals: anatomy, perspective, composition, lighting, fabric/hair/FX.Bonus: Japanese/English bilingual, background art prowess, 3D block-ins, or color keys.How We Work (Part-Time)Remote-first, sprint-driven.Clear briefs, rapid feedback, kind teammates.20h/wk with ~4 hours overlap for standups/reviews.Multiple openings (minimum 6).
