Job Description

Mantell Associates is partnered with a rapidly growing Biopharma organisation specialising in Advanced Therapies, who is seeking a Head of Business Development. You will be an integral member of the leadership team and responsible for the commercial function. Head of Business Development - Responsibilities:

Play a key role in identifying and developing prospects to expand the company’s portfolio and growth, through a combination of organic and inorganic focus globallyLead a solid Business Development team with the responsibility for sales, marketing, and proposalsIdentify and create sales goals & strategies to achieve these within the budget frame together with the team – aligned with the company strategy, mission and visionEnsure that the team is organised accordingly to reach the goals and responsibilitiesExecute Business Development strategy by discovering new business segments, account strategies and technology while establishing strategic partnerships globallyDevelop business relationships with existing clients through key account managementOversee your team’s Sales, Business Development, and Marketing activitiesBuild and develop the team as needed, and provide training for new team membersWork effectively with the Marketing team to design marketing strategies that attract and retain clients, promote company capabilities and services, and generate revenueHead of Business Development - Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and preferably a PhD or MSc. Proven experience working in the Advanced Therapies space​Strong and proven leadership experience of Commercial teamsExperience across project management, business development, sales and marketing for international marketsPossess professional work experience in a Commercial function, including Sales/Business Development and Key Account ManagementExcel at building and expanding networks with individuals from diverse backgrounds and industriesProve a track record of establishing successful strategic partnershipsPossess exceptional verbal and written communication skillsMantell Associates is a specialist Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences headhunting firm.
