Job DescriptionAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead and execute advanced engineering initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance, drive cost efficiency, and ensure product quality. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership to support high-impact projects across production lines.Key Responsibilities:Lead and launch Value Engineering (VE) programs, focusing on cost reduction, design-for-manufacturability, and product/process optimization. Provide technical leadership in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex manufacturing equipment and systems. Drive yield improvement, customer quality enhancement, and line efficiency through data-driven analysis and Six Sigma/Lean methodologies. Conduct structured experiments and validation tests, with clear documentation and presentation of outcomes to stakeholders. Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure seamless NPI (New Product Introduction) and scalability of manufacturing processes. Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to enhance throughput and reduce manual interventions. Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including AIM, Lean CI, and Digital Transformation projects. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, safety, and regulatory standards through proactive audit readiness and process control. Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence. QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles within high-tech or precision industries. Proven track record in leading Value Engineering programs with measurable cost savings and product improvements. Strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab). Hands-on experience in equipment troubleshooting, process validation, and product repair. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Effective communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Proficient in CAD tools, Finite Element Analysis, and digital simulation for engineering design and VE. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight timelines. Fluent in English (written and spoken) for technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
