Thank you for your understanding.Job DescriptionWhat you’ll doDevelop and document technical process descriptions and manufacturing principles in the heavy-duty Turbine and Generator Rotor manufacturing areaTake on complex manufacturing tasks with high levels of responsibility, including setup planning, lifting and tilting of heavy components, and authoring, updating, and maintaining equipment manualsEnsure that work is performed in terms of safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and regulatory compliancePlan, coordinate, and monitor manufacturing projects as well as the introduction of new products (NPI)Support NCR (Non-Conformance Report) processing in close collaboration with the quality and production teamsPerform risk analyses (FMEA) and cost-benefit analyses to support development and process optimizationContinue to develop your technical competence with a clear path toward becoming a Manufacturing Expert in Rotor and Generator production within GE Vernova BirrWhat You’ll Bring (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent education) with proven competence in conventional machining processesFluent German and English, both spoken and writtenStrong autonomy, initiative, and clear, factual communication skillA genuine interest in daily interaction with products and the manufacturing floorSolid knowledge in mechanical integrity calculations (static mechanics)Experience with lifting equipment, design, and relevant regulations is an advantageHighly accountable along with good organization and communication skillsAnalytical and methodical working methodWhat Will Make You Stand OutWork autonomously, performance-oriented and reliablyAct as a cooperative team memberContribute innovative ideas and show flair for mechanical designsThink cost-consciously and entrepreneuriallyBe open to varied challenges within the framework of long-term cooperation to growBenefits Available To YouGE Vernova employees rise to the challenge of building a world that works.
