Job ResponsibilitiesYour Responsibilities Improve current production part process capability and repeatability through the optimization of existing manufacturing processes. Complete all required APQP-related activities, ECR processes, PRP (8D), andAll Other Quality Management System Requirements As Needed.

Development and maintaining documentation for PFMEA, Work Instructions,Rework, Change-over procedure and instruction, Manufacturing EngineeringOpen Issues, and Continuous Improvement Program. Coordinate, lead, and participate in various multi-disciplined teams inaddressing and fulfilling various corporate objectives associated with,manufacturing process, productivity, volume outputs, scrap/rework, quality,safety, and delivery commitment. Optimize all parameters to attain maximum running efficiencies for each jobthrough creation of Standardized Work procedures (line speeds, cycle times,TAKT times, etc. ). Provide quote direction for new business related to tooling, new materials andprocesses as required.

Who We Are Looking For Degree in electrical, mechanical, or equivalent engineering discipline withappropriate manufacturing / process experience Experience in processing material handling and assembly tasks, process layoutand cycle time analysis of robotic and assembly cells Creative and self-motivating with the ability to understand and divide a visioninto prioritized tasks Broad technical background with a clear understanding of automotivemanufacturing processes and plant operationYour Preferred Qualifications Lean / Six Sigma certificationAwareness, Unity, EmpowermentAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
