Primarily tactical responsibilities. This does not include general administrative work.Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering2+ years of experience in Manufacturing process engineeringProvide design & assembly feedback to engineering teamExperience using ERP systems - Oracle or SAPDesign change and implementation experienceDesired CharacteristicsExperience in Six Sigma and CAPA processShould have skills like methodical, responsive, and highly organized; have good analytical skills..Excellent knowledge of materials, parts, product design and quality standards (ISO 13485) and requirements.Good knowledge of the company’s technology, production capabilities, tools and assembly methods and be able to use CAD (Computer aided design) tools.Good at working within budget and meeting deadlines; and have an excellent understanding of health and safety issues and requirements.Leadership skills can be an asset if their work entails overseeing and coordination of techniciansInclusion and DiversityGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
