Job Description
Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Leads the identification of problem root cause and the recommendation of effective corrections and preventive methodsAnalyzes various failure reports and recommends corrective actionCollects, analyzes and reports on various measurement statistics and metricsMaintain an interactive plant quality relationship focused on effective transition of product releases to a manufacturing quality support roleFacilitate creation of control plans, process flows and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) specific to new product developmentInterface closely with Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Product Management to understand and improve product and service qualityInvestigate and resolve QA projects, as assignedEnsure communication and interaction with Supplier Quality to ensure supplier performance does not impede new product performanceInitiate regular meetings with Manufacturing and Quality personnel to ensure activities are aligned to meet the new product quality plansParticipate in Field feedback meetings to ensure understanding of field issues and progress is being made on service call rates and warranty costsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedParticipate as Auditor of the Vertiv Quality Management SystemRequiredUniversity degree in a technical field and three years of direct experience in quality assuranceAdvanced proficiency in word processing, (relational) databases, analytical software, spreadsheets, planning, and desktop publishing toolsKnowledge and skills in various data analysis and problem-solving techniquesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsTime Travel NeededUp to 15%OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
