The Mapper works directly with other senior McCann strategy leaders to develop insight-driven, integrated digital marketing strategies, channel plans, digital marketing planning implementation and leadership across a diverse set of MWG clients.The Mapper will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of a brand’s core business challenges and the priority digital and social behaviors of their target audiences. Then develop and recommend integrated channel strategies aligned with the client’s core marketing objectives.The Mapper is a member of the MWG Strategy Team, and will partner with people from across McCann’s creative, account, media, analytics, and technology ecosystem (including partners) to ensure seamless program development and innovative, integrated execution.The Team Every member of the Strategy Team is responsible for delivering McCann Worldgroup's ambition of becoming the #1 Creatively-driven global marketing company by helping brands play a meaningful role in people's lives.Our goal is to create work that allows brands to play a meaningful role in consumers' lives. What You Will DoThe Mapper for McCann Worldgroup will be required to: Support in defining the scope, approach and execution of marketing channel strategy for projects across the myriad of digital touchpoints including, but not limited to: search, social media and strategy, display and acquisition marketing, rich media advertising, social gaming, mobile marketing, and integrated promotional strategy.Develop and interpret deep insights into how people interact with technology, devices and channels online, especially in social environments, as well as offline.Map out the path to purchase of our clients’ target customers demonstrating how they consume media, make purchase decisions, and utilize various forms of digital technology along the way.Stay current on users, interactive trends, best practices and digital experiences with an eye towards MWG’s client base.Continuously upskill on and maximize digital tools to derive insights about people’s attitudes and behaviorsProactively identify new opportunities for client growth, enforce processes and best practices across all engagements.Participate in strategic development of new business.
