We specialize in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA/ESIA), ecological and marine surveys, environmental monitoring, and compliance management for major giga-projects across Saudi Arabia.Position OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and skilled Marine Biologist to join our dynamic environmental team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting marine ecological surveys, biodiversity assessments, and supporting marine conservation and monitoring programs in coastal and offshore environments.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct marine habitat assessments, including coral reef, seagrass, mangrove, and benthic surveys.Participate in marine fauna identification, ecological monitoring, and biodiversity mapping.Perform underwater data collection, CPCe analysis, and report preparation in accordance with NCEC and international standards.Support EIA/ESIA studies and marine restoration initiatives such as coral relocation or transplantation.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams .Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or Marine Ecology.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in marine ecological surveys or environmental consultancy.Strong knowledge of marine taxonomy, habitat classification, and CPCe/CoralNet analysis.Diving certification (PADI/CMAS) is mandatory.Experience working on large coastal or offshore projects in the Gulf region is an advantage.Excellent report writing and data interpretation skills.Why Join VEKR?Work on iconic national and giga-projects under Vision 2030.Join a multidisciplinary, growth-oriented team of environmental professionals.Competitive compensation and opportunities for professional development.
