Babcock is looking for a Marine Fitter to join the Naval Fleet Sustainment team based in Devonport, Auckland.About The RoleJoin a team that keeps New Zealand’s naval and marine assets mission-ready. As a Marine/Mechanical Fitter, you’ll be hands-on with propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and small craft maintenance. From gearboxes to hydraulics, your work ensures vessels operate safely and efficiently. You know your way around propulsion systems, pumps, hydraulics, and compressors. You’re confident diagnosing faults, making repairs, and working to tight deadlines. You take pride in your workmanship, communicate clearly, and stay calm under pressure. You’re safety-conscious, IT-capable, and keen to keep learning.
