Reimbursement Manager DACHLocation: GermanyWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reimbursement Manager DACH to support market access initiatives and ensure optimal reimbursement for our innovative Class III medical technologies across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with hospitals, physicians, and payers to expand therapy adoption and patient access.Position OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining reimbursement programs, submissions, and tools to support both internal teams and external stakeholders. You will act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement pathways, ensuring sufficient and sustainable payment mechanisms for our therapies and products.If you have a strong understanding of healthcare systems within the DACH region and experience in market access, hospital reimbursement, or health economics for medical devices, this is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact on patient access to life-changing technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the subject matter expert for coding, coverage, and payment within the DACH region.Develop and maintain reimbursement tools, resources, and documentation to support hospitals and physicians.Support clinics with coding, billing, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.Partner with health insurers and authorities to enhance therapy awareness and ensure sustainable financing.Assist hospitals in ZE (Zusatzentgelt) negotiations and MDK (Medical Service) interactions, including denial and appeal management.Collaborate with Sales and Market Access teams to deliver aligned reimbursement strategies.Conduct internal and external training on reimbursement policies and best practices.Track and report on reimbursement trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.Participate in conferences, congresses, and medical device association meetings to represent the company.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Fluency in German and English (both written and verbal).Experience:Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in reimbursement, market access, or health economics in the medical device or healthcare sector.Deep knowledge of DACH reimbursement systems and healthcare regulations.Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently with strong organizational skills.Experience in hospital budgeting processes and negotiations (e.g., ZE).Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Willingness to travel up to 50%.What We OfferCompetitive salary with performance-based bonus.Company car or car allowance.Comprehensive health benefits package.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge implantable medical technologies.Professional development and career growth within a collaborative European team.
