The client has transformed music listening forever when launched in 2008. Period: 2025-08-11 to 2026-04-10 (full-time), with a possibility of extension. About the roleWe are seeking an outstanding junior Legal counsel to join our client's Legal Licensing and Business Development team on a temporary basis in Stockholm.
As Legal counsel, you will partner with, and provide legal mentorship to, our client's Business Development teams with a particular focus on enabling the distribution of the client via a wide range of partnerships. Our deals are often cutting edge, revolutionary and always evolving so it will be up to you to continuously assess and advise the teams on legal issues, and unlock partnerships, using a creative, solution orientated and pragmatic approach.
What you'll doReview, draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including reseller and distribution agreementsCollaborate with their accounting, finance and licensing teams on the drafting and implementation of agreements enabling partners to distribute Premium offeringsImprove standard form agreements and legal processes to help our client scale globally with a consistent but locally relevant approachWork closely with the business teams to summarize and communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively and help them synthesize legal frameworks into their business/deal strategiesAdvise the business on relevant legal contexts, issues and risks, complex agreement structures, approval processes, and company policies and proceduresWho you areLaw Degree (or equivalent) from top-tier university~2-3 years of post-qualification experience working in a top tier law firm and/or in-house legal departmentTeam player with an ability to work autonomouslyPrevious experience partnering with global stakeholders and partnersStrong track record of working with a wide range of commercial agreements (any focus on technology, business development, content licensing, media and IP deal a bonus)You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectivelyYou are inquisitive and challenge the effectiveness of current processes and procedures, constantly seeking ways to improveWe are Market PartnerMarket Partner is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
