The Market Research Analyst will lead both external and internal research initiatives. Externally, the role focuses on conducting in-depth industry, competitor, and market studies. Internally, the analyst will perform systematic business analysis, providing insightful conclusions and actionable recommendations to support business development, product direction, and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities1. Analysis & Insights Develop a deep understanding of business operations and data models. Provide timely and accurate data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to business lines. Suggest optimization directions and strategies proactively, based on business performance analysis. 2.
Reporting & Trend Analysis Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to monitor both external market environments and internal business performance. Identify valuable product/service trends, supporting product roadmaps, sales, operations, and user growth strategies. Deliver insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations for decision-making. 3. Industry & Market Research Conduct continuous and in-depth research on the logistics and supply chain industry. Closely monitor competitors and industry developments, evaluate market dynamics, and assess risks and opportunities. Support executive-level decision-making by providing timely intelligence on industry trends and competitor strategies. 4. Cross-functional CollaborationWork with sales, operations, and business development teams to align research findings with commercial objectives.
Translate complex data insights into actionable strategies for stakeholders. Key RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s preferred). 3–5 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or consulting, preferably within logistics, transportation, or supply chain sectors. Skills & CompetenciesStrong proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods. Solid understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain operations. Advanced data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent). Excellent ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights. Strong communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
Bilingual capability (English + Mandarin/other regional language) preferred. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy, depth, and timeliness of market and business analysis. Quality and impact of insight reports delivered to business teams. Contribution of research outputs to product, sales, and operational strategies. Responsiveness to industry and competitor developments.
