This role involves graphic design, social media coordination, and marketing administration.The successful candidate will report directly to the Marketing Manager and the Director of Advancement. They will be responsible for assisting in the execution of marketing activities that enhance the College’s brand visibility and uphold its reputation for excellence.Minimum Requirements:Please note: Only candidates who meet the following criteria will be considered.A BA or BCom degree with a specialisation in marketing, branding, or digital media.1–2 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role.A valid driver’s licence.Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Photography and basic video editing skills.Experience in social media management, particularly on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.Familiarity with analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and Google Ads.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail, accuracy, and effective time management.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Physically fit and able to assist with event setup and breakdown.Outgoing, energetic, and approachable personality.Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality at all times.A clear criminal record and a sexual offender’s clearance are mandatory.Commitment to upholding the safety, dignity, and well-being of all students, and to working in a professional manner with children.Dedication to upholding the ethos and values of St Alban’s College and the integrity of the Marketing Department.Key Competencies:A collaborative team player who works effectively with colleagues across departments.A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion.Strong design sensibility, able to create professional work aligned with the College’s corporate style identity (CI).Creative problem-solver with an eye for detail and brand consistency.Adaptable, organised, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with staff, students, and external stakeholders.Responsibilities:Design and Brand ManagementDesign and produce digital and print marketing materials that align with the College’s CI and brand guidelines.Create visually engaging designs for social media, publications, newsletters, posters, and event materials.Maintain a consistent brand identity across all platforms and marketing outputs.Social Media and Digital MarketingDevelop, schedule, and publish social media content across various platforms to maintain a professional and engaging online presence.Monitor and analyse social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to keep digital strategies current and effective.Support the Marketing Manager in managing online advertising campaigns and digital engagement initiatives.Event Coordination and PhotographyAssist in the planning, setup, and execution of College marketing events, expos, and promotional activities.Represent the College in a professional and friendly manner at all public events.Capture and edit photography and video content at school events for use in marketing and communication materials.Ensure all promotional events reflect the values and image of St Alban’s College.Marketing Administration and SupportAssist with day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department.Coordinate with internal departments to source and compile content for marketing purposes.Maintain and update digital marketing platforms, including the College website and newsletters.Manage marketing materials and equipment, ensuring they are stored and used responsibly.Uphold professional conduct and confidentiality when handling College communication and information.Community Engagement and School InvolvementAttend key school functions, including chapel and assembly, as required.Promote positive engagement and uphold the College’s reputation at all times.Application Process:If you meet the above criteria and are passionate about contributing to a dynamic and values-driven team, we invite you to apply.To apply: Submit a letter of application and a two-page Curriculum Vitae Please note that correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates only.If you have not heard from the College within three weeks of the closing date, please accept that your application was unsuccessful.
