We’re looking for a highly resourceful and self-driven Marketing, Brand & Buying Coordinator to join our team. In coordination with the merchandising and marketing teams the Marketing, Brand & Buying Coordinator will create, plan, coordinate, proof, prioritize, implement and execute a segment of all vendor/store/mall print and co-op marketing campaigns, promotional and collateral material, special events and related activities. This includes coordinating changes and/or approvals and arranging for production and distribution for specialty stores and Pop-Up locations. They will curate and select products and items for specialty locations from current and new vendor sources. In addition, they will work with the toys and collectibles teams closely to ensure unique product is available for store locations. and act as a liaison between promotion/advertising companies, production/print service providers, vendors, EBOC field and the EBOC Merchandising, Marketing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Buying Responsibilities:Responsible for the purchasing of unique and different products for Pop Up and specialty locations. Assists with planning and executing new releases; inclusive of routing/freight determination coinciding with established Routing Guide guidelines.Meets with Traffic Dept. with support information to execute special planning initiatives.Negotiates with and manages vendor relationships under the direction of the Buyer/Director. Creates all SKU's in applicable product categories when required. Consults and coordinates with suppliers to obtain accurate item set-up information including price, dimensions and all pertinent product specifications.Solicit updated/accurate information daily from suppliers/publishers concerning new release and hot item restock activity. Update new release and expected order data bases daily; update internal system daily for accurate communication to stores POS.Performs all price changes and price protections in the product categories.Negotiates with and manages vendor relationships under the direction of the Buyer/Director. Marketing Responsibilities:Works closely with marketing, field and merchandising to help with the coordination of events at flagship, specialty and pop-up stores.Co-ordinate shipments of all co-op marketing print/POP materials for storesFulfill all store requests for marketing needsEffectively manages and coordinate marketing and pop culture calendar. Coordinate all translations (French language compliance) for any store communications that may need to be sent out on behalf of the Marketing department (Ensure all bilingual materials are supported for Quebec market)Assist the Marketing Design team with any weekly print and productions that would be required for store communications/shipments Coordinate a portion of all vendor-supplied promotional programs; including roll-out communication to stores and the coordination of materials distribution. Update the monthly expense spreadsheets with all approved invoices and submit to A/P in a timely mannerWork with the Marketing Field Support Specialist to ensure all shipments for store cross promotions are shipped efficientlyWork with the Merchandise Planning and Traffic Logistic teams to ensure marketing shipments are planned and shipped out in accordance with team shipping budgetsEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years marketing, buying or purchasing experience.Visual arts background preferred. Knowledge of graphics, marketing, print/production terminology and concepts. Ability to create production-ready final art files for various printing processes. Strong attention to detail. Keen eye for visual balance and design.
