This research provides a solid basis to promote our expertise, which helps to develop the Ipsos brands and our positioning in the market.In this role, you will lead the marketing efforts for Ipsos Australia to promote our services, product launches and align marketing strategy with the commercial strategy. The Marketing Communications Manager will look for pro-active opportunities to develop the profiles of key staff, drive and develop social and content marketing, enter industry awards, organize events (in collaboration with our business unit leads) and work with key stakeholders to deliver marketing activity that meets our commercial objectives and agreed marketing strategy.YOUR PROFILETo be successful in this role we are looking for someone with:Solid understanding of media and marketing trade press managing external PR agencies and PR monitoring.Proven experience in communications, PR or content marketing, event management.Experience in developing and activating marketing strategies that aligns with commercial strategy.Previous experience working with stakeholders to develop marketing activities (PR, events, industry awards) that support commercial outcomes and effectively promote Ipsos and/or our services as market leading.Hands on experience managing online strategy & content (Website and social media coverage) along with controlling the marketing budget.Understanding of the strategic use of research data to improve business decisions.Interest and experience in developing and executing client or industry events as directed and end-to-end from topic development, invitation management, catering and venue sourcing, coordinating post event follow-up. This would be done in collaboration with the relevant business unit leader.Effective communication skills, presentation skills and business writing skills.Strong interpersonal skills for both internal and external stakeholder management.ABOUT IPSOSWe are one of the world’s largest market research companies, the only one founded and still managed primarily by researchers across 90 markets.
