What are you going to do? Nedap Security develops cutting-edge solutions for physical access control, helping organisations protect people, property and processes. As we shift towards SaaS-based offerings and cloud-native platforms, We’re looking for a Marketing Director who can set the vision and lead the global marketing transformation of Nedap Security.As Marketing Director, you will lead the positioning of Nedap Security as it evolves from a traditional access control provider into a broader, software-driven security solutions provider. SaaS will be a key driver of this transformation. You will define and execute our go-to-market and demand generation strategies to accelerate adoption of Nedap’s SaaS-based and access control solutions across enterprise and critical infrastructure markets. Your work will shape how Nedap is perceived, moving from a trusted technology partner to a leading SaaS provider, driving awareness, engagement and commercial growth.You will report to the Head of Commerce for the Business Unit Security.Responsibilities Your responsibilities Strategic leadership: Define and drive Nedap Security’s global marketing strategy, aligning brand, product, and go-to-market efforts to accelerate the transition toward a SaaS-driven business model;Brand repositioning: Reposition Nedap Security from a product-centric company to a value-based, solution-oriented provider by translating strategic ambitions into clear, differentiating narratives for customers and partners;Demand generation: Drive global demand generation through multi-channel strategies, including content, events, partnerships and digital campaigns, by setting direction and creative framework;Product marketing alignment: Collaborate with Product Management and Sales to shape product marketing, ensuring coherent messaging, pricing, and packaging across all offerings;Team leadership: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing organization, fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and data-driven decision-making;Thought leadership: Elevate Nedap’s thought leadership in enterprise access control and physical security through compelling storytelling, industry engagement and consistent brand presence;Performance optimization: Measure and optimize marketing impact using tools such as HubSpot or similar, focusing on pipeline contribution and key growth metrics;Market insight: Stay ahead of market shifts by continuously monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging SaaS and identity management developments, translating insights into actionable marketing strategies. Your team In this role, you will lead a team of marketers and collaborate closely with colleagues from Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to ensure strong alignment across the organization and meaningful impact in the market. Required experience and skills You are an experienced SaaS marketing leader with a deep understanding of how to position and scale software-driven businesses in complex B2B markets. You combine strategic clarity with the ability to inspire teams and align diverse stakeholders toward shared commercial goals.Your profile includes:Proven experience: 8+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in SaaS or subscription-based business models and 3+ years leading high-performing teams;Strategic and commercial acumen: Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for SaaS offerings, ideally across international markets and through multi-channel ecosystems;Analytical and data-driven mindset: Skilled in leveraging data, insights and marketing technology to guide decisions, measure impact and identify new growth opportunities;Affinity with technology and security: Strong understanding of enterprise technology; experience or interest in physical security, identity or access control markets is a plus;Global perspective: Comfortable operating in international, cross-cultural environments, with the ability to tailor messaging and strategy across regions;Leadership and collaboration: Proven ability to build, lead and inspire marketing teams, fostering creativity, accountability, and alignment with commercial and product goals;Communication excellence: Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are an advantage.
