With innovative production facilities based in strategic locations internationally and a global distribution network, the company is global leader in the core segments in which they operate.While embedded in the West of Ireland, the company is very ambitious and operates with very much a global focus with the business consistently growing at 20% per annum attributable to organic growth and selective acquisitions.Role Overview:This No. 1 Marketing Leadership position involves overseeing and developing a sizeable marketing team organised across five 5 key pillars within the Marketing function.Given the impressive company growth in recent years, the time is now right for the appointment of a strategic Marketing Director, in a newly created role, to drive forward the alignment of the Marketing function with the overall business goals.Other initiatives include driving tradeshow strategy, retail strategy, technical strategy and geographical strengthening strategy,The Marketing Director will build a strong suite of KPIs and metrics to “prove” the marketing department is a driver of growth.Role Responsibilities:Shape, develop and execute an optimal global market strategy for the company to be aligned to the company’s overall strategic plans, to grow company Revenues to €1Bn per annum.Monitor global industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our client stays at the forefront of innovation.Strengthen brand presence, driving product adoption, and positioning the company as the first choice for end-users worldwide.Oversee Campaign development activities that resonate with both B2B and end-users across diverse industries.Manage, motivate and develop Marketing team members to ensure a proactive action oriented team culture is prevalent.Work closely with Board and other Senior Leadership Team members to drive the marketing agenda across the group and to deliver on the key priorities of the role.Work closely with Product Development and Sales functions to align campaigns with Business goals and to ensure a proactive and strategic Marketing function to effectively work collaboratively with these Departments.Oversee Market research efforts to identify customer and end user needs and trends globally.Ensure campaign performance is tracked and analysed, providing actionable insights and recommendations.Enhance collaborative relationships with distributors and partners to amplify reach and impact.Personal Profile:An accomplished marketer currently working at a senior leadership level within a reputable lrish based corporate that has a global footprint operating in industrial B2B sectors.Experience in technical product environments where product certification is required e.g. FMCG, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Technical Apparel or other industrial B2B sectors.Strong knowledge of digital marketing, trade marketing, and brand positioning.Ability to interpret technical product information for a high volume of products and translate it into compelling marketing content relevant to a high number of different markets.The company operates in what is a very segmented market that needs a very segmented approach and requires a Marketing professional who understands that and who can elevate that.Comfortable working for a West of Ireland Headquartered business where the Marketing team is predominantly based at Head office.Effective People manager adept at managing large Marketing teams including both Head office based and remote based employees.Proven track record in strategic campaign development and execution.Deep knowledge of digital marketing, trade marketing, and brand positioning.Excellent communication and project management skills.Prior practical exposure to Salesforce CRM platform would be beneficial to provide metrics and data to link marketing activities with revenue generation.Experience working in a global, fast-paced environment.Financial acumen and proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Location:Ideally, our client would like the candidate to be living in, or happy to re-locate to, the West of Ireland within a commuting distance of the Head office as that is where the brain of the operation is based and where the majority of the Marketing team is based.Travel will be ~15% of the role and will primarily be to mainland Europe.Remuneration:Given the seniority of the role in what is a global company that has ambitious growth plans, the remuneration package will be attractive and commensurate with the appointee’s experience.
