Job DescriptionJob Title: Marketing Director / Senior Marketing Manager – EPC / Energy Sector (UAE)Location: United Arab Emirates (Dubai/Abu Dhabi)Reporting to: VP Marketing / VP Business Development / GMCompany Overview:We are a leading EPC contractor focused on large-scale energy/infrastructure projects in the UAE and wider GCC region. Our operations span engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of major assets in oil & gas, renewables, power & utilities.Role Summary:The incumbent will lead the marketing & communications function, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies tailored to the EPC/energy sector, building the company’s brand and pipeline in the UAE & region, aligning with business development and bids teams, and ensuring measurable growth of market visibility, lead generation and client engagement.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the UAE/GCC region aligned with the company’s business objectives in the EPC/energy sector.Lead marketing planning, budgeting and resource allocation.Manage and oversee brand positioning, messaging, and corporate identity for the EPC business in the region.Drive the full marketing mix: digital (website, social, SEO/SEM, lead generation), events/trade shows, print/collateral, PR/media, direct marketing.Work closely with business development, proposal/tender teams and operations to ensure marketing supports new business opportunities and client acquisition across EPC projects.Conduct market research/competitor analysis, track industry/energy trends in the UAE/GCC, identify new market segments and growth opportunities.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders: major clients (NOCs, utilities, major contractors), partners, agencies, media, industry associations.Measure and analyse marketing performance (ROI, lead funnel, conversion, brand metrics) and make data-driven decisions.Lead, mentor and build a marketing team (or external agency/s) in the region as needed.Ensure compliance with regional/local market requirements, cultural sensitivities, and region-specific communication norms (including Arabic language ability if advantageous).Report regularly to senior leadership on marketing performance, pipeline contribution and strategic insights.Required Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience in B2B industrial/EPC/energy/heavy‐industry sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior marketing role (Director/Head/Lead) in Middle East / GCC region.Demonstrable track record of delivering marketing strategies that support business growth in the EPC / oil & gas / power / renewables sectors.Strong understanding of the EPC lifecycle, tendering/proposal process, and the energy market in the UAE/GCC.Proven digital marketing capability (SEO, SEM, social, web analytics, marketing automation) as well as traditional marketing (events, print, PR).Excellent stakeholder management, leadership/team building, communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.Willingness to travel within UAE/GCC for client meetings, events and site visits.Desirable:Experience working in large EPC contractors or major energy/infrastructure companies.Familiarity with NOC/utility procurement processes in the Middle East.Knowledge of region-specific regulations, cultural business practices, and vendor/contractor flows.What We Offer:Competitive tax-free salary + bonus structure.Regional leadership role in a high-growth, strategic business.Opportunity to shape the marketing function in a dynamic EPC business.Relocation support (if required) and benefits in line with the UAE market.
