The company is focused on both B2B and D2C channels and is committed to delivering high-quality lighting solutions. Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on, ROI-driven Director of Marketing to lead our client’s marketing strategy across B2B and B2C channels. This individual will work closely with Chris and report directly to Josh Mehraban, the ultimate decision-maker on product and pricing. The ideal candidate will bring deep marketing expertise, preferably in the lighting or electrical industry, and will be responsible for building brand awareness, driving sales, and expanding market presence. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute marketing strategy across B2B and B2C channels.Build and grow the brand through PR, paid media, and organic campaigns.Develop product displays and marketing materials to support sales and agent teams.Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.Recommend and implement CRM improvements; train sales team on quoting and opportunity tools.Study competitors and propose innovative marketing strategies, including mobile product showcases.Develop and manage a B2B e-commerce portal.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to reinforce brand identity and trust.Support the launch of new products and expansion into contractor and electrician markets.Oversee media buying and potentially manage the graphics department in the future. QualificationsBachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing.4+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or product marketing (lighting or electrical industry preferred).Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing and CRM tools for at least 3 years.Background in both large and small company environments.No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years; no employment gaps over 3 months.Strong analytical skills with the ability to track ROI and interpret sales data.Experience with paid media platforms including Google, Facebook, Amazon, ChatGPT, and Microsoft.Savvy with automation and CRM systems (ERP is Medsuite/NetSuite). Success Metrics – First 12 MonthsEstablish and lead a comprehensive marketing strategy for both B2B and B2C.Understand and address the needs of sales teams and agent partners.Launch a B2B ordering website/portal.Develop and implement product display strategies to enhance brand perception.Increase brand awareness and customer engagement through innovative campaigns.Build a database of key stakeholders including architects, designers, and electricians.Drive growth in D2C and retail channels, including Amazon and Home Depot.Support new product launches aimed at doubling company revenue.
